Living in the Moment

As I have previously posted, I am incredibly stressed out. Nothing is coming together, and I am exhausted. All I planned on doing tonight was doing some cleaning and going to bed. I didn’t think I would be having fun, but that is exactly what happened.

At 11:00 P.M, I got an insane craving for something sweet. In the spur of the moment, I decided to bake chocolate chip cookies. Soon, gathering the ingredients turned into joking around with my brother, and dancing to my girl, Selena Gomez’s song, Hands To Myself.

That might not seem like much, but it’s the first time I’ve had fun in what feels like eternity.

I guess what I am trying to say is, don’t get too swept up in your current predicament. I know how easy it can be to be completely consumed by life. All I have done lately is search for a job and think about my future. Sure, it’s important to chase goals, but it is essential to sit back and just breathe. Sometimes it’s alright to just take life by the moment.

Your life is precious, make It enjoyable.

  1. I feel the same way and I too had a fun night with my two little brothers. We ate pizza and watched dumb shows. It was the most joy I have felt in months. Thanks for sharing.
